Adenium arabicum, also called Green Caudex, produces Desert Roses that are famous for their large, sculptural green bases (caudices), bright flowers, and thick, glossy leaves. They're perfect for bonsai and thrive in warm temperatures (77-95°F / 27-29°C), full sunlight, and well-draining soil to ensure successful germination, which usually happens within 1-2 weeks. These seeds are highly desired for their strong growth and distinctive shape, providing a fulfilling experience as they grow from seedlings to mature succulents.

Caudex: Forms a big, striking, green swollen base, which is a hallmark for bonsai lovers.
Foliage: Features large, glossy, and thick leaves. Flowers: Tubular in shape, usually pink to red, and blooms abundantly.
Origin: Comes from Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Toxicity: Every part can be toxic, so handle it carefully and keep it out of reach of kids and pets.

Germination: New seeds sprout in about 7-10 days; older seeds might take a bit longer.
Temperature: Heat is essential, preferably between 80-95°F (27-35°C).
Sowing: Opt for a well-draining mix, lightly cover the seeds, maintain high humidity, and water softly.
Light: Full sunlight is needed after germination.
Watering: Water during the growing season (spring/summer), cut back in winter but ensure they stay hydrated.

Soaking: These seeds might need a longer soak and more warmth to germinate than other Adenium types, such as Adenium obesum.

Soil: Go for a really porous, well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Steer clear of deep pots, as they can lead to a long, carrot-like underground caudex instead of a rounder, more exposed one.

Light & Water: These plants love full sun. Water them during the spring and summer growing season, but cut back on watering in the winter, just enough to keep the leaves hydrated.

Temperature: The best temperatures for germination are between 70°F and 85°F (21°C and 29°C), with consistent warmth being super important.
